Private Instruction

Private Instruction
Private instruction is also available in most of the disciplines listed in this schedule.
The prices are as follows:
1 person - $30 /half hour, $60/ 1 hour
2 people - $30 each/ hour
Some instructors may cost more per hour.
Students who cancel a private class in less than 24 hours or do not show up may be charged.

Registration Fee

All students enrolled in classes must pay a registration fee each semester.
The fees are as follows:
Students enrolled in group classes and/or ongoing private classes: $60
Flying Trapeze drop-in students: To receive the $31.50 per class rate, you must pay $60
Children enrolled in children's classes: $30
* Students attending workshops only: $10 per day of workshop up to $60 for the semester
Individual users not enrolled in group or private classes: $60 for the Semester or $10 per day up to $60

Registration and Payment

1) Deposit of 50% is required for reserving a place in a class.
2) Tuition may be paid by using one of the three offered payment plans: a) full payment, b) 50% deposit, 50% billed during the session (requires credit card information) c) 50% deposit with remaining balance charged automatically to your credit card in two installments
3) The following discounts are applied to those who enroll in multiple classes for a session and pay in full at the time of registration: 5% off two classes, 10% off three classes, 15% off four or more classes, 15% off each additional sibling (children's classes only; all children must be enrolled in the same class). Discounts do not apply to special workshops, individual user fee or registration fee. Discounts not applyto those who choose payment plan B or C.
4) Circus Center reserves the right to cancel any class after the second week of the session if the class does not obtain minimum enrollment. In the event of a cancellation because a class does not meet the minimum enrollment, a full refund of the unused portion of the tuition will be made, or the unused portion may be credited toward any other Circus Center class.

Individual User Policy

A person wishing to use our facility to train on their own must pay an individual user fee. If they wish to use apparatus, they must be evaluated and have written approval from one of our instructors.
The individual user fee for enrolled students is $10/day, $20/week, $35/ month or $90/semester.
The individual user fee for non-enrolled students is $15/day, $30/week, $60/month or $150/semester.

Refunds and Make-ups

1) Any student who withdraws from a course before the first class will be entitled to a full refund. A parent who withdraws their child from Circus Summer Camp before the first day will receive a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee.
2) In order to allow for financial and program planning, Circus Center can not provide refunds or credit for classes missed for any reason other than illness or injury. Classes may be made-up within the semester in which they were missed if there is space in another similar class. Circus Center may issue a refund of the unused portion of tuition if a student can not continue to participate in classes due to injury or for another medical reason. A Request for Tuition Refund Form must be completed and submitted to the front office with a doctor’s note before any refund can be considered.
3) Any student requesting a refund must fill out a Request for Tuition Refund Form and return it to the Circus Center office before the refund will be processed. The refund will be calculated from the point when the student first notified the Circus Center office of the dropped class or classes.
7) A student may make up missed classes only if there is space available in another class. Student must check with the Circus Center office and the instructor to get permission to attend a make-up class.

Drop-ins and Partial Sessions

1) A student may drop-in to a class only if there is space available. Please check with the Circus Center office to find out which classes can accommodate drop-ins. Student must pay registration fee with pro-rated fee for the class.
2) A student may sign up for a partial session of a class if they are starting late in the session, and if there is room in the class. A student may not reserve space in a partial session of a class ahead of time, unless they intend to pay for the full session. The class will be prorated from the day that they start.
