Our expert instructors work with groups and individuals to ensure that all participants are safe, supported, and have a great time.

 

 

 

 

 

A Party Like No Other

 

 

 

The Flying Trapeze Party at Circus Center is a unique experience on the Bay Area's ONLY flying trapeze rig. Your party will start with a fun icebreaker and some high-energy warmup exercises. Next, you'll go through our "Ground School," where you'll practice things like taking off and hanging from the bar. Now you're ready for the big event – it's time to take some swings on the flying trapeze! We wrap things up with a cooldown and some group photos.

 

Got a larger group? We'll add a rotation for trampoline, juggling and balance skills, or both!

POLICIES


Booking

Please submit party requests at least 2 weeks prior to the desired date to allow time for booking and processing. Specific instructors may be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Parties and events are NOT booked until we receive your deposit. Final payment will be processed no sooner than 3 days prior to your booking. All booking and payments are processed by our Party and Events coordinator. Parties and events booked after normal Circus Center facility times may be subject to additional fees. All participants must sign a waiver in order to participate. Insurance prohibits any additional persons to participate in activities outside of the reservation, including parents. The minimum age for all parties and events is 7 years old.


Circus activities occur during the booked party and event time. Food and drink are not recommended during activity time. All parties and events come with an additional 30-minute booking in our bleacher area for food, drink, etc. Booking available upon request, please let our Party and Event Coordinator know if you would like to take advantage of this offer at no additional charge!


Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 30 business days before the event will incur a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations made 10-30 business days prior to the event incur a fee of 10% of the total event cost. Cancellations made 3-9 business days prior to the event incur a fee of 50% of the total event cost. No refund is given when a cancellation is made within 72 hours of the event.


Rescheduling and other Adjustments

Adjustments to the size of your party must be made 5 days prior to the scheduled event date to prorate the total cost.


We will accommodate movement of reservation dates when possible. Reschedules made more than 30 business days in advance incur a $25 rescheduling fee. Rescheduling made 10 – 30 days in advance incur a 10% rescheduling fee. Rescheduling made 9 business days prior to your event or closer incur a fee of 50% of the event total.

 

When can you accommodate my event?

We strive to accommodate your special events outside of our regular class hours to ensure your celebration is memorable and enjoyable.

For weekday events, we kindly ask that they conclude by 4 pm to accommodate our scheduled classes. On weekends,  parties start in the late afternoon. For specific details on available dates and times, we encourage you to consult our class schedule or reach out to our dedicated party planning team at parties@circuscenter.org.

 

What should we wear?

To ensure your comfort and safety during our event, we recommend wearing close-fitting athletic attire that covers the knees, similar to what you would wear for yoga or gymnastics. Loose or baggy clothing may restrict movement, so it's best to opt for snug-fitting garments.

As participants will be inverting at different stages of the event, it's essential to choose attire in which you feel comfortable being upside down. We advise against wearing jeans for optimal flexibility and ease of movement.

Please note that shoes will not be worn during any activities, and participants have the option to wear socks or go barefoot.

We want you to fully enjoy your experience with us, so please dress accordingly to ensure your participation is both safe and enjoyable.

 

How do I reserve a party/event?

Ready to reserve your party? Simply fill out our web form with all the details about your event. We'll get back to you within 72 hours to finalize the arrangements.

To ensure availability and smooth planning, we suggest initiating your booking at least 3 weeks in advance.

 

Is there parking?

Circus Center is located at 755 Frederick St. in San Francisco. We do not have designated parking. There is free neighborhood parking around the facility (watch out for street cleaning hours), as well as a paid parking lot on Stanyan and Frederick. There is an additional parking lot, the UCSF Parnassus Parking Lot, at the corner of Arguello and Irving, where the street becomes Carl. If you are coming by public transportation, Circus Center is located along the N-Judah Line at the Carl and Hillway stop, and along the 7 Bus Line at the Frederick and Arguello stop, where Frederick becomes Lincoln. 

 

What is the minimum age for flying trapeze?

The minimum age to fly is 8 years old.


What kind of physical shape do we need to be in?

Our flying experiences are designed to accommodate individuals up to 200 lbs safely. However, we also consider the physical fitness and comfort level of each flyer beyond that weight limit.

To ensure a fulfilling experience, we recommend that participants feel comfortable hanging from a bar for approximately 20 seconds. This helps us gauge readiness for the activity and ensures everyone's enjoyment.

In rare instances where safety concerns arise, we may need to decline service to maintain a secure environment for all participants and our staff. Please understand that this decision is made with everyone's safety in mind.

 

Can we bring alcohol?

No, alcohol is not permitted in Circus Center during class or party times.


Does it cost less if we have fewer than 10 people?

Our pricing structure is based on several factors, including fixed time and costs associated with hiring coaches to ensure the best experience for our clients.

Maintaining a fixed rate allows us to deliver consistent quality and ensure that all participants receive the attention and resources they deserve. We believe this approach provides the best value for our customers while also allowing us to cover our operational expenses.
